For a purely informational visit, our hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, including IP address, date and time of access, requested file or page, referrer information, browser and operating-system information, and server log data. Processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its security and stability, and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
This website is provided through GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The data described in section 2 are technically transmitted to and processed by GitHub when the site is accessed. A transfer to the USA cannot be excluded. Further information is available in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
On the DE, EN and FR shop pages, we use Google Analytics 4 as an optional service in the “Statistics” category. Google Analytics is loaded only after you explicitly accept that category. Until then, no connection to the Google Analytics tag is made. Your consent is the legal basis for access to your device and subsequent processing under Section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Google Analytics 4 is used to analyse how visitors use our website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing may include visited pages, interactions, technical browser and device information and a truncated IP address. Processing by Google LLC in the USA cannot be excluded. Further information is available in the Google Privacy Policy.
Google signals and personalised advertising signals are disabled in our implementation. This does not replace consent. You can reject, change or withdraw your consent for the Statistics category at any time through “Privacy settings” in the page footer. Following withdrawal, Google Analytics will not be loaded again from that point forward; data already processed by Google are not deleted retrospectively.
Your choice, time and settings version are stored only in your browser’s local storage so that the choice is respected across DE, EN and FR. You can remove that entry at any time in your browser settings. Technically necessary functions, security measures and website delivery are not part of the consent choice.
Our “Buy on Amazon” buttons are simple links to Amazon.de. A connection to Amazon is established only after you actively click one of those buttons. Amazon then receives at least your IP address and the information that the link was accessed from this site. Amazon is responsible for subsequent processing; see Amazon's privacy information.
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide, including your email address and request content, in order to handle and respond to your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request concerns a contract and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data after the request has been completed unless statutory retention obligations apply.
